Pure serendipity! It was a chance meeting with Jack. He and my husband shared a room in a post surgery rehab facility. My daily visits with Gussie set us up with a pup with greatly improved behavioral responses. Jack just plain gets dogs. He almost immediately had Gus walking better and jumping less. He made it so simple and specific that I have been able to carry on now that both men have headed home. Were surely grateful for the chance meeting and the delightful time we spent with Jack.

Jack is the Greatest! After Hip surgery I needed to drive myself and my 2 "Do-Dads" (Shih Tzus) 7 1/2 hours back to Northern California. I have one rescue that was a handful on trips and I was gong to have to handle her by myself just weeks out of surgery.

I have two very stubborn, and unruly French Bulldogs. I found out about Jack through a coworker who was very happy with his services.

Our little puppy Kaia who is a pure bred Border Collie (6 1/2 months old at the time of training) was definitely displaying how intelligent he was and doing whatever he could to test his limits. From the second Jack arrived, we saw a complete paradigm shift in his demeanor and attitude toward us.

At first we initially thought his methods were slightly unorthodox but as he explained to us, using the training choke chain collar, along with the leashes he provided would allow us to essentially speak Kaias language.

We love Kaia to death, but we needed him to see us as the alpha in the group and listen to us.

It has taken some time and things still are not at 100% but as Jack explained to us, its a work in progress that will take some time to fully master.

Jack is an amazing trainer (Uncle Jack!) with tons of experience so I dont question his training and teaching one bit. He was also willing to stay however long it took to make sure that the concepts were learned by both Kaia and me and understood. This is something I really appreciated as he didnt simply look at his watch and say, Times Up! See you next week! He literally would stay until we were comfortable (sometimes almost 3 hours!). Thank you Jack!

He also helped us introduce Kaia to our pool and showed us how to properly get him comfortable to be able to swim. In just one training session, we had Kaia in the pool happily swimming like hes done it all his life (with me covered in scratches of course, but happy he learned).

Overall, we are pretty happy with the results (Kaia now comes every time I say Come! Well 95% of the time) and we are looking forward to his skills and attitude toward us to keep improving.

In the future we would be happy to hire Jack again and would love to have him help teach Kaia some tricks. (Also need to schedule that barbecue!)

Jack and his methods came at just the right time. Our puppy was frustrating us to no end, with teething, biting, running away, etc. (all puppy behaviors). Jack came in and in one session adjusted our techniques so that the dog knew who was boss. Jack went away. We continued to do "our best", but the dog took control again. Again, we called Jack. Second session, and the dog is back in line. The training is for us, not as much for the dog. And boy, does it work. We are feeling grateful and appreciative of Jack and his words of wisdom. I have a French Bulldog Alfie who is very strong willed.
I was having a tough time training him.
Jack came over. He taught him how to walk correctly right by my side, no pulling, no barking at other dogs. We walk now every day and it's completely enjoyable. Alfie was also having a problem barking at house guests that came to the door.

In December 2018, my wife and I adopted a 1 year old 50 pound black lab/pit bull mix from a shelter. Within 10 days it ran head first into my wife and shattered her knee. Jack is THE BEST!!!!!! After trying everything under the sun to contain our anxiety ridden pit mix, she tore up all our wooden shutters in the house, I googled " dog therapists" and Jack's name was the first in line. I called him, he let me know he would meet my dog and evaluate the situation. He indicated he wouldn't waste my money or his time if we were not willing to be on the program with him. I immediately liked his honest approach! Hemet with us and our dog, was quick to analyze and evaluate the situation, took so much time talking to us about her anxiety and REALLY cared about finding resolve to our situation. After 4 sessions, I can honestly say we have a new dog. She is well behaved, more secure when we leave the house, has not destroyed anything and is able to walk by other dogs without going after them. We owe it all to Jack's patience, support and encouragement! He responded quickly to all our calls and texts, he was extremely flexible with time frames (we both work full time) and most importantly, made our interaction with our dog so very positive. The best lesson we learned was that he made us aware of our inconsistencies which, when modified, ultimately helped so much with our dogs behavior. 1 year, 2 other trainers, and a lot of money and stress could not fix my pup. I was beginning to think she was hopeless until just a few sessions with Jack and we’re on the right track.
